Easy Home Cooked Meals/Snacks that are a Must Try This Summer

@kitkeenan on Instagram and TikTok came up with this delish recipe for Easy Cheesy Caesar Nachos! 

What you’ll need:

  • 1 bag of tortilla chips

  • 1-2 cups of chicken

  • 1 bag of lettuce

  • caesar ranch dressing

  • ½ cup of cheese… or more

*Directions: 

  1. Pour about ⅓ or more of the tortilla chips on a plate, then take your chicken and cheese and mix together in a separate bowl and then spread out over the chips.

  2. Next, microwave the chips with the spread for about 2 min in the microwave (may need longer).

  3. Lastly, spread the salad and caesar ranch dressing over the nachos

The cookie croissant is the perfect viral TikTok dessert to try this summer! Let me get you hooked on an easy recipe that will be almost as delicious as the original recipe from Boulangerie Louvard in Paris!

What you’ll need:

  • a package of whole butter croissants 

  • any type of chocolate chip cookie dough 

  • nonstick baking sheet

*Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and cut a fresh croissant in half like a sandwich.

  2. Stuff around three pieces of cookie dough inside the croissant, depending on the size

  3. Top each croissant with three more pieces of cookie dough, then bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the cookie croissants are golden brown!

Once again I have to feature another @kitkeenan recipe! These croque bagels are just too good! Perfect for any brunch or breakfast on the go!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 everything bagel

  • honey

  • butter

  • 4 pieces of prosciutto

  • 2 square cheese slices

  • baking pan

  • 1 egg

  • everything bagel sesame seasoning 

*Directions:

  1. Slice your everything bagel in half, spread a little bit of butter on each side, drizzle some honey on top.

  2. Wrap 2 pieces of prosciutto around each half of the bagel and slap on a slice of cheese on each half.

  3. Bake until bagel halves are golden brown and cheese is just a little melted.

  4. Crack egg and pour yolk in the hole of each half, and add some seasoning on top.

  5. Broil until the yolk is nice and soft and the bagel is crispy!

What you’ll need:

  • vanilla greek yogurt

  • chocolate protein powder

  • sugar free chocolate jello mix

  • sugar free cool whip

  • 2 oreo thins

  • chocolate syrup

*Directions:

  1. Add a couple spoonfuls of vanilla greek yogurt in a bowl, and add a scoop of chocolate protein powder and about half of the jello mix in the bowl as well. 

  2. Add two scoops of cool whip and mix everything together.

  3. Crush 2 oreo thins into the bowl and add to the fridge for a couple of minutes.

  4. Lastly, drizzle some chocolate syrup on top and your dessert is ready!

This easy to make Broccoli Salad by @recipesbyvictoria is perfect for someone trying to spice up their salads and add more protein into their wellness plan!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 chicken breast

  • a couple big pieces of broccoli 

  • greek yogurt

  • feta

  • mayo

  • roasted garlic

  • rinegar

  • greek seasoning

  • red onion 

*Directions:

  1. Season and cook your chicken breast and air fry the broccoli.

  2. To make your dressing, blend the greek yogurt, feta, roasted garlic, and light mayo, vinegar, and greek seasoning. 

  3. Roughly chop the broccoli and chicken, and then toss with the red onion and dressing!

For our last easy to make recipe, I’m showcasing this Reese’s Bar recipe from @petitecakery that doesn't require an oven and tastes just like a Reese PB Cup! 

What you’ll need:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (8 sheets)

  • 1 cup of crushed graham crackers

  • powdered sugar

  • 1 cup of peanut butter

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

  • 2 more tbsp of peanut butter for chocolate topping

*Directions:

  1. Melt your butter and crush up some graham crackers and combine them together with powdered sugar, a sprinkle of salt, and your peanut butter!

  2. Once combined, put the mixture into a parchment line pan. Press down on the mixture to flatten it, and set this into the fridge.

  3. Melt together your chocolate and peanut butter for topping. Pour this mixture into the peanut butter graham cracker crust after 10 minutes. 

  4. Chill bar for 1 or 2 hours in the fridge. Enjoy!
